News and information regarding the swimming pool. Apparently is was too hard for anyone to synchronize the filling of the pool together with the automatic dispensing of the chemicals for the maximum usage of the pool to Mi-Sol residents and their guests. My other half spent about 3 days helping a committee member to re-grout the tiles which were lifting in the pool (mainly because the pool had been left unmaintained and without water for so long). Once this was finished the pool was left to fill, and most people assumed the person in charge would have made sure the chemicals were dispensed as needed.....but no, the residents were then informed (verbally) that the pool would not be ready until at least Monday.
The bar-owner, sick and fed up with people asking him when the pool was opening and what was going on, decided to get his own tester kit and test the pool......see photo below........
The pool tested completely safe for swimmers. A member of Mi-Sol who used to monitor the swimming pool last year was asked to verify the results of the tester kit.......which he did. He was then asked to tell the president that the pool had been tested and was completely safe for swimming......the said member of Mi-Sol said he would do that......he was seen walking towards the president's abode and hasn't been seen since by the bar owner. I wonder why??
I can only assume that as several residents, their friends and some Spanish children, knowing that the pool was not officially open had therefore been taken short (if you know what I mean) and had jumped into the pool rather than face the alternative. It wasn't long before the newest member of the committee (our old wannabe president who caused Mi-Sol park so much trouble) came scurrying like a little Jack Russell onto the scene. He started to shout and berate the Spanish children, threatening them with the police. He said absolutely nothing to the residents who were swimming in the pool. (Bully, or what?) Next, a committee member came and placed a disclaimer notice in the notice board outside the pool... .the notice was all that was needed, as anyone who uses the pool until a lifeguard is present (see picture below) does so at their own risk and notices should have been printed and in place before now.

I hope our committee remember that their obligations are to the Residents of Mi-Sol Park, not to any agenda of their own making. When the sun is shining and people are hot, there needs to be a very good reason why the swimming pool is not open, thus far the residents of Mi-Sol have not been given one. All tests have been done and verified by the bar owner.
