The open forum was held today (Tuesday) in the bar. The president Mrs. Mo Taunton stood up and said it was being held to discuss what had been decided at the committee meeting held the previous Thursday. As the minutes of the meeting had not been made public; the president gave a run down on everything that had been decided. Because the President didn't use a microphone, and the fact that most of the tables were murmuring amongst themselves, our table, for one couldn't hear everything that was being said.
Our treasurer/secretary then stood up to explain the situation regarding the gardener, apparently he didn't have any transport at the beginning of the month and both strimmers are in for repair. As the trees now need trimming down,(tops lopping off) the gardener is going to be extremely busy for the next few weeks. As soon as the trees are done and the strimmers are repaired the gardener will be back doing all his usual jobs.
The president then asked if there were any questions. I Know a Misolites called the President over to her table, but I couldn't hear what was being asked or what the answer was.
Marie Jenkins had no compunction in showing her face at the meeting, not in the least ashamed of having been the signatory to a cheque relieving Mi-Sol Park of 30,000.00 Euros and another cheque valued 3.000.00 Euros. The people of Mi-Sol must have very short memories, I am not so forgiving of someone who colluded to misappropriate the money I paid into the community.
Another Misolite (on a different table) kept asking me to stand up and say something, but again with all the chatter going on I couldn't make out what she was saying, and I thought to myself "why don't you say it yourself"
Two Misolites living on the side of the park were under the impression that they could only ask questions concerning the committee meeting. I asked two committee members if they would go over and explain what they would now have to do in order to put their questions to the President and the committee. As I left I saw that one of the committee members had gone over to talk to them.
The second two storey house is going up directly across from the treasurer/secretary's house. See photos.

I believe another Misolite did ask the president about the above, and was told the best course of action was to allow sleeping dogs to lie.
My granddaughter, her partner and great-grandson (what a mouth full) arrived today so I am going to be playing mine host (not very well I might add) for the next 10 days or so.
