2009-11-13-Fly in my eye

Hi Misolites-----------------------------13/11/2009

Decided to go to the Dingo Diner today for lunch, so off to pick up some other Misolites only to find that her dogs had perpetrated the big dog break out. There was a small posse of six Misolites on the prowl around Mi-Sol, where had them pesky dogs got to? We went up and down, in and out and around and about but narry a sign did we see. Eventually (after over half an hour) they were tracked down to a certain house, rounded up, scolded and locked back into their own home. Off we went for a really good lunch.

We had a drain consultant brought into our circle yesterday (brought by the last person who had repaired the drains????) to give a quote on repairing them again, (our drain clearer man has been down and cleared them for the moment - only took him an hour and half).

Decided to have a day out in Cartagena...so several Misolites booked up, got up at the crack of dawn, and set off for the Carrafour pickup place. On the way we noticed that several dogs (about 4) had been let out on their own and were running in a pack....not a good thing. Anyway a lovely trip down to Cartagena...we decided to "do" the castle, we walked under the arch looking for a lift. When we found it, it wasn't quite what we imagined. The lift was running up the inside of a tall see through metal structure (not unlike a tube) leading to a metal bridge which spanned a gorge over to the castle.

It was a bit of a hike up to the top of the castle, but well worth the exertion, the views of the town were amazing. After all the ooohing and ahhing we decided it was lunch and coffee time. Once we had reached the bottom, guess what? we bumped into a couple of waifs and strays who had got lost in the town, walked in a massive circle and ended up At The Castle!! After lunch it was a train ride to Los Nietos, the train ride was ok, seen the scenery from a different angle, but Los Nietos? nothing there whatsoever, big let down....still it was a journey worth making as done it now and will not be wondering what the trip was like.

Now a little bit of comic relief, lets see who can work this out...A certain guest Misolite went flying the other day, unfortunately his flight did not last as long as he would have liked. The pilot was attacked by a fly and lost control of the aeroplane. The plane ducked and dived - whirled and twirled and ended up crashing in a field near Orhuella. Our intrepid flyer wasn't hurt (except his pride) his plane was repairable...but blinded by rage and frustration, he trampled the plane into a thousand pieces and bruised everyone of his toes. .....Now you know who you are!!!!

Thought for the day "A compliment is the easiest and most appreciated form of communication".

Adios Misolites.
