2009-11-18-Old MiSol Envelope

Hi Misolites 18-11-2009

Witnessed a funny sight today,....our secretary/treasurer and our gardener both jumping up and down like maniacs in the garden waste skip..talk about being on a massive trampoline.

The gardener is very busy cutting back all the eucalyptus trees at the moment, the only trouble with these trees is that they are not indigenous to Spain, in fact the Spanish authorities are trying to get rid of them. Apparently the more you cut them, the more they grow, they are experts at drawing water from the soil as they are native to Australia. This obviously is detrimental to the other plants on Mi-Sol Park

The weather is still holding up, sunny and bright, a little bit chilly in the shade and of course at night.

Last Sunday was the last day of the beach bar just along from The Nautilus at Punta Prima. The bar owner had a saxophone player there for the afternoon. It was brilliant just sitting in the sun with a drink listening to him play.

Bob at the bar has said there will be free Christmas dinners for anyone who can guess the christian name of the chef Mr. Asif.......Answers by email to me please………

A couple of Misolites who had a night out at Shady's Bar decided to leave their car in Mercadona's car park and walk home. Bad move. Some lowlife, broke the side window and stole the radio from the car. It’s not the theft as much as the hassle which is the problem.

Haven't got any more news for you all, things seem very quiet on the park. I found this old envelope in the office cupboard on Monday, thought you might like to see it.

Quote of the Day "Don't waste time currying favour with those you don't respect"
Adios for now
