Long time - no write...circumstances you don't even want to know about!!!
I have just arrived back on Mi-Sol Park in sunny Torrevieja. I need a few days to catch up with the gossip, but I have noticed that there haven't been any Committee meeting minutes on the official blog since the MARCH meeting published on the 17th April.
I am amazed that no-one on Mi-Sol Park appears to have questioned the President/Committee on this matter.
The last Bank Statement was also published on the 17th April. If anyone has an explaination as to why this situation has come about, could they please let me know.
I would ask some of the committee members, but as they all seem to have an aversion for straight talking I can't be bothered.
What has happened to all the people who called for an EGM to make sure that I and two other residents were not voted on to the committee? Are they doing anything???
I have heard that the police were called to the Mi-Sol swimming pool by the Vice-President and the old wannabee (do you think he will ever be able to keep his nose out?) in order to evict residents swimming in their own pool!!.
Apparently the police gave them both a flea in the ear and told them that the residents were quite within their rights to swim (at their own risk) in their own pool at any time. yay.....Ten out of ten for common sense.
I have noticed the wall has been half knocked down.....something to do with insurance requirements....the published document has been translated by residents on the site (so I have been told, and no I do not know if it is true) and they say it is not the wall but a staircase?!?!?!. I see also that money (can we afford it) has been spent on partly enclosing the outside showers...why?...were people in a draught????
I have also been told that another (the 2nd one) toilet block has been renovated with a new boiler etc installed. As it was voted upon at an AGM several years ago that all toilet blocks should be shut down...again, I ask...what is all that about?!?!?!
As Mi-sol Park residents are paying for the water,electric and maintenance used by residents availing themselves of the shower blocks open door policy to take free showers and free water whenever they like...then it is only fair that the water charged to each home owner is also free of charge.
Certain people will look up and say we are a campsite and have to supply these facilites. This is not true... This ruling applies to touring caravan campsites and Mi-Sol Park is NOT a campsite no matter what is on the deeds, we are a private residential park. 10 years ago it was voted upon at an AGM that everyone should install their own shower and toilet facilities which in turn would stop a lot of hobo's and other unsavoury persons trying to stay on the park during the winter months. Therefore, again I say that if hot and cold water is being supplied free of charge via the toilet blocks, then it is only fair that the water charged to each home owner is also free of charge.
The park is looking quite tidy, I don't know if that is because the gardener has been working or if the sun has burnt all the weeds away.
Does anyone know if the following sentences have any relevance to anything happening on Mi-Sol Park?????
