An email I have sent to the president this morning: (20/07/2011)
"To the President of Mi-Sol Park - Mrs. M. Taunton,
As I have heard you are up and about, could you please publish the bank statements on the official blog?
If you have the time a short synopsis of what is going on, on the Park would be much appreciated
by many of the residents, myself included.
Any information regarding the AGM that you would like to share, would also be appreciated.

THIS IS THE REPLY from the President (20/07/2011):
"I am recovering from 2 strokes and major vascular surgery and on request have submitted my medical report to the lawyers, I have been instructed by them to take a back seat. As none of the committee could agree to an EGM to appoint a replacement, it was agreed to have an acting vice president to act on my behalf until September and I can only refer you to him, his telephone number is 620283886. It is my understanding that the lawyers are drawing up the agenda and subsequent paperwork for the AGM to be held 24 September which I think they will be sending to Peter. Because of my illness I have been unable to participate in any admin work since December last year, so cannot help with your request for financial information, Peter is responsible for this, I believe he is on holiday until next week."

The one thing I noticed about the above email, was that none of the niceties were implemented....was it all too much effort?
Do lawyers instruct Presidents as to whether they are fit enough to fulfil their duties??? As a non-Spanish person and not used to Spanish Law concerning urbanización protocol ....could anyone advise me???
As acting vice-President why hasn't there been any committee meetings held. Is this an autocratic post???
Did our President give up her access to the Mi-Sol account, and if so who is signing the cheques?
Another rumour circulating on Mi-Sol Park at the moment concerns our treasurer and the gardener. The rumour suggests that they were observed on two separate occasions in a queue at Caixa Murcia where large amounts of money were withdrawn. The dates in question were the 13th June and the 19th July.or thereabouts.......Can anyone throw any light on this matter. As the treasurer and gardener are both away from the park (again rumour has it they are on holiday together in England) this rumour could get out of hand very quickly as they are not here to defend themselves.
If the lawyers are organizing the forthcoming AGM, are we going to be subjected to the same duplicity that was practised at last years AGM and the subsequent EGM??????
Are our existing committee members incapable of organizing the AGM as it has been done since the Park started up?
I know I am throwing up more questions than answers, and I would hope that committee members who have access to the Internet would be willing to answer some of the questions.
