Hi Misolites,
Hope you are all having a great Christmas, just got back on the internet after being incommunicado for approx 10-12 days. We have had a lot of snow in Essex, but all seems to be clearing up now. Not going to go on about life down South, Just thought I had better publish this Post sent to me by Bob Morans.

Please all you Misolites who read this, make sure you make your own minds up about the events that are happening. Anyway, end of lecture, below the post sent to me on the 20th December:-


Does this woman want to be the most hated President in the history of Mi Sol?

You really couldn't make this story up.

After a commitee forum held in the bar where the majority of the residents present, plus the majority of commitee ageed to let residents of Mi Sol decide on whether Splodge can remain in his "Lodge" at the A.G.M. next september, Myself and Maggie had an apppointment with the Mi Sol lawyerat her office to sort out the contract for the bar. The Appointment was at 12:15, we were kept waiting outside for 25 minutes. When we were finally asked to go in I was surprised to find The President and Peter already inside.

The contract was discussed and some obstacles were put up which I did not consider to be insurmountable, but I did get the impression that the lawyer was only working for one side. We left the meeting feeling that everything will probably be resolved.

This morning (Friday) the president went to see Splodge and told him that he has to vacate his home by the end of the month. She said that the reason was not now a breach of contract but the bar was in breach of some law to the community. She said to him that it was nothing to do with her, it was a decision of the Mi Sol lawyer. It is amazing that when anything is done that is nasty it is "nothing to do with her".

She also told Splodge-which I think completely unproffesional- that I do not have a Licence de apertura (opening licence) because it runs out if not granted after 6 months according to her lawyer. I immediately phoned my lawyer who informed me that usually takes up to 12 months.

The President has tol several people that she is calling an E.G.M. in april to call her own resignation, I honestly believe that she is doing her utmost to undermine me before she goes.

I am looking forward to having a party in april, as I am determined not to let his woman beat me.

I have in the past months watched an illegal brick building erected in front of where I was living, plus a caravan (with an electric hook up), plant pots, a swing garden seat and several washing horses in front, all inside the community circle. If the President had pursued these issues instead of nit-picking and pursuing a vendetta against me, she would have been doing a better service to the Residents of Mi Sol, because when all is said and done she is elected to serve the wishes of the community, not her own personal hates.

I would like to hear the views of the community on these matters.
