Hi, here I am again reporting from sunny?? España. Everything is going well at Mi-Sol Park, too well as I haven’t got any gossip to tell you, I really am going to start having to make things up. My husband is of the opinion that our new president is turning into his fantasy woman (Margaret Thatcher) you can tell I have been training him a loooonnnggg looonnnggg time. I think in future I shall refer to our president as “The Fantastic One” or TFO for short, what do you think? Derek has been busy pruning the trees around us, this has been quite a job for him to do single-handedly, but my clever old man managed to prune the tops of the worse 4 trees nearest to us. This will save us (Mi-Sol Park) having to pay for these to be done next year. Of course, you cannot please everyone and an immediate complaint was lodged by a certain Misolite (I use the term loosely, as I do not consider her to be a person who is in the least bit interested in Mi-Sol Park, only in her own importance) asking who had given permission for this to be done, and what was the policy now on pruning trees. I cannot repeat the answer she got as I like to keep all the good stuff to myself!!! Rumour has it, another disagreement kicked off in the bar the other night, do you think the Spanish are putting something in the water??? We had a beautiful quizmaster (mistress) last night hosting things at a certain Misolites abode. We had a really good time, but the quiz mistress could not get over how uneducated we all are. Her new slogan is “What school did you go to?” We were all too scared to tell her that we met each other at Borstal! And that our education had followed a different course to hers. Our wannabe president’s wife has had her hair cut short, she says it wasn’t by choice and the hairdresser was like a maniac on speed holding a pair of shears!! She said there wasn’t any way she was going to argue with her (the maniac). On a up note, the style really suits her and she looks all the better for it. Or, maybe my eyes are letting me down along with everything else. The wind has got up today (Sat) and everything is being blown about all over the place. Some friends have just arrived from Benifor, and they say it looks like one of those Wild West towns, with tumbleweed rolling about everywhere. He said it was a lovely change playing dodge the tumbleweed instead of dodge the pedestrians!!! I hope he was joking. Miss Strop and family went back to UK yesterday, I only hope they don’t have a massacre in that there camper. (Still keeping to the Wild West theme here). I don’t think I will talk about them anymore in case I put a jinx on them. A few of us went up to the Torretas for lunch, unfortunately a pylon had been blown over up near the garage, and blacked out most of the eateries. We wandered about like starving orphans going from this one to that one and praying for light, or at least food. By the time we made to B.J.’s cafe the electric had come back on and we all got fed. Yippee. Now, on the way back to Mi-Sol Park, we couldn’t help noticing several UFO’s flying about in the sky. What were they? We couldn’t decide for a while and then (no pun intended) a flash of inspiration occurred. They were a certain guest Misolites underwear. (knickers to you) flying through the air. As she doesn’t like her underwear (knickers) to be pegged on the line to begin with, all I can say is it’s a good job she is home in Basildon. The shame of it!!!!! On that cheerful note, I shall leave you for a while. Keep the flag flying (if you have one).
