Hi Misolites,
Last Wednesday I had a meeting with the Treasurer. We have been through the accounts for 2009 and have agreed the figures regarding the incomings and outgoings. The treasurer does not have a breakdown of the expenses and has told me to go ahead a publish mine. So, if you look under accounts you will see my breakdown of the 2009 expenses. (soon)
I have just started doing a breakdown of the Justificantes, but as I can only do this in the office under the supervision of the treasurer this is going to take me a bit of time. I am going back to England on Sunday, so there will not be a breakdown of the credits or justificantes until December or even January.
There is some bad feeling between the bar owner and the person that was going to buy it. It is all really sad as most people on here were looking forward to a change of scene. (Not to imply there was anything wrong with the last scene) You have to be soooooo careful what you say (write)
People are still puzzled by the calling of the EGM (what is the emergency? I am usually asked). I asked the treasurer about the AGM minutes today (02/11/2010), and was told they are still in the hands of the lawyers, goodness knows what they are doing as AGM minutes should really be published within 10 days of the meeting…hey ho…..we will just have to wait and see what they say…..eventually.
The gardener is making a start on the trees once again, I don’t know where the time goes, “is it really that time of year again?” I ask myself. Answer:- It must be.
Since the clocks have gone back, the nights seem to get dark very quickly. The mossie’s have decided to come out of hiding, it has been great..... the longest time I have known it without mossie’s…….but they are back with a vengeance at the moment.
Now for a little joke .......these characters are totally fictitious and are not meant to bear any resemblance to anyone now, in the past or in the future that have lived or is going to live on Mi-Sol Park
Jake was dying. His wife sat at the bedside.
He looked up and said weakly: 'I have something I must confess.'
'There's no need to, 'his wife replied.
'No,' he insisted, 'I want to die in peace.
I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend, and your mother!'
'I know,' she replied. 'Now just rest and let the poison work.'
And last but not least from the friends of Irony
