Hi Misolites

Well, I really don't know where to start regarding the events of the last two weeks. It was May 25th when Mo consulted the lawyer regarding her resignation. It was the 28th May when a notice was posted on the Blog, but still no official confirmation about the resignation. Rumours were circulating the park regarding Mo's resignation and also the unconfirmed resignations of two committee members. It was decided to call a meeting for the 30th May so that the committee could be invited and answer these and any other questions.

The meeting went ahead with Shelagh and Lynn being the only two committee members present.

Due to the fact that both committee members were under the impression that Mo had resigned, and two other committee members confirmed their resignations - one in writing and one verbally; it was decided that the ordinary committee meeting due to be held on the lst Tuesday of every month would go ahead.

This meeting convened in the office on Tuesday 1st June. Peter, Lynn & Shelagh representing the committee were present. There were five members of the community present. Although it is normal practice for residents not to participate in committee meetings it was deemed that these were unusual times and therefore a general discussion of what was best for Mi-Sol Park ensued.

There were offers from volunteers to man the office which were accepted by the committee.

There were two other things I can remember being discussed that have any relevance. One was the fact that the electrical inspection asked for by Mr. Moran had not gone ahead. The reason, stated by a committee member, was that he (Mr. Moran) had not deposited his half of the fee into the bank.
Two points; one he could have been asked "Why the delay?" and secondly as Mr. Moran deposits about 1200.00 Euros per month into the bank he could actually have had this amount of money added to his account.

The second item that was discussed for quite a while was the legality of Mo's resignation. At the end of the discussion it was decided by the remaining committee members that they would wait for a letter from the lawyers and then call another committee meeting. Interested residents would be invited to attend and discuss the next stage in Mi-Sol Park's way forward.

On the Wednesday I manned the office, the morning went by very quietly, approximately six to eight people came in for mail. Two men came in from Park Nacciónes. I thought it was to do with the rest home but I was corrected at a later date. It involved putting a sign up on the outside wall pointing the way to Park Nacciónes.

On the Thursday we discovered via the blog, (again, no official confirmation) that Mo had retracted her resignation and had taken up the office of President once again.

Since then, I have not heard anything except that I am to do the office on Wednesdays. I do not have any knowledge of whether the letter ever arrived from the lawyer The committee do not seem to be very open with what is in the pipeline or anything else for that matter, I feel I would be wasting my time asking about a lawyer's letter.

Anyhooooow, enough of Mi-Sol politics, they become same old, same old, after a time ....booorrrring.

Which misolite planted plants around the outside of his casa, only to find that some low life was nicking them? What did he do? Well, this intrepid misolite decided the only thing to be done was set a trap. So he tied a few strings with little bells on in amongst his plants...and then he waited, and waited, and waited. Wait, was that a bell he heard? Yes, it was. He jumped up, he ran out, he had no fear...but who was it.....it was that b*****dy black or was it white cat from next door. It had dug up the plant and standing on its hind legs was off....it speed through the bushes with our intrepid misolite in hot pursuit. The cat laid the plant on his mistress's step, our misolite was touched by this act and decided not to SMASH IT'S HEAD IN after all.....Misolite, cat and plants all lived happily ever after.

As I've Matured...
I've learned that I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it.

Will write again later
adios Misolites, sleep tight, watch out for black (and white) cats.
