Hi Misolites,

A few little titbits for you, some of which may be a bit out of date now.....but hey ho here we go!!!

Commiserations to one of our committee members who has broken her ankle and has had to remain in England. Let's hope it is on the mend soon.

Our resident "rodder" (drains that it) informed me that he has had to unblock nine different drains since the start of the year......and we have not even got to the end of the month yet!!!!! I hope he is getting a clothes allowance...phwew

The new chef at Mi-Sol Bar is cooking up a storm. The food is delicious, and very competitively priced. We sat outside the bar today in glorious sunshine.....I had liver & onions, and my other half had cottage pie, both equally as good as each other....I hope the sun keeps shining and the food keeps coming. Am I hoping for tooooo much???

Been in the office today (Saturday) still no sign of the bills or the contracts for the lockups. The committee member on duty did not have any information on when the bills would be ready.

The boot sale has started up again at the Marina Bar, plenty of stalls there this week. You get a coffee and a cake for your 1.30 Euros....I go around and around it and then I am so glad if none of it fits, I have too much of everything, I suppose that is with getting old....ok then I am old.

A bit of gossip, one of our members fell, and people were told she had a hole in her tongue or was that a hole in her lung??? Talk about chinese whispers.....anywhoo she is on the mend now wherever the hole was!!!!

At the bottom of the site, the rain had once again washed all the stones down to the wall at the bottom of the site leaving large ruts in the ground which made it bad for walking on and driving across. As Mi-Sol Park showed no interest in fixing this matter, my dearly beloved...(ahhhh) decided to do it himself......see pictures below...whoo hoooo a hero in our midst.

Another bit of gossip, one of our members has been going off site (I think she has got herself a fella) she leaves her outside lights on, to kid us that she is in, you knock on the door...what..no answer and then she says she is ill in bed with a hangover....I don't think so, she has too much concern for her electricity bill. And why were the dogs barking?

The fence surrounding the illegal caravans on Clara's land blew down in the high winds that we have been having, and guess what.....another Berlin wall built in breeze block is going up....god only knows what it is going to look like. The garage on the end of 610 now has an extension attached to it, lovely front door etc.etc. concrete driveway on Mi-Sol land just for the car. There is no end to the cheek of this woman, although she must have a pretty good business head on her. All those tenants paying her rent, and her paying Mi-Sol Park nada, nowt and nuffin. I hope she will get charged for having two properties even although she probably won't pay. I watched one of her tenants coming on to the park this morning, he was pushing a shopping trolley with a steel door and other bits and bobs on top of it.....talk about the rag and bone man, I am only surprised they (Clara's Tenants-The Clampett Clan) don't tether a horse in the middle of a circle somewhere, tie a few goats up to keep the grass down and bob's your uncle, we won't be needing a gardener anymore.

On another note I was sent the statements by the treasurer for the months September 2009 up to the present date, the only problem is that the names were omitted, so I am once again unable to check or finish the records of 2009....I suppose I could ask again, but it makes me wonder if there is any commonsense to be had if I go down that road. The bills are now out...26th January 2010 and the treasurer has said that he will be making appointments for the signing of contracts concerning the lockups. (The rent of which has been lowered without any discussion that has been minuted.)

I have decided to start a zoo in my circle, after all I have nothing else to do, so with that in mind off I went to the shops. I wasn't sure where the zoo shops were but I managed to find an elephant (See picture below) to start me off. If anyone has any wild animanls (none of the two legged variety) going cheeep [sic] no, not cheep, cheep please get in touch.

I have heard several explainations for the tiling on one of the roads, but the general concensus seems to be that it is for emergency helicoper landings in the event of the plague visiting the people of Mi-Sol. We already have the wall art at the front of the park which is supposed to scare people away. Bit like a big red cross on your front door!!!

For a certain Misolite who loves his boundaries....this is for you lol

'cos no-one else will....only joking
keep your thermals on
'til next time
