2009-10-08-Who will look after the Bar??

HI Misolites

Well, there are all sorts of rumours flying about out here regarding the bar.
Our barkeeper has said he is definitely going, no-one knows where or when he is going, but agoing he is.

Who will open the bar at 12 noon and keep it open until at least midnight??
Who will do all the crosswords in the papers?
Who will clean the toilets?
Who will buy in all the booze??
And most importantly who will pay all the bills?
The answers to the above on a postcard please…(no prizes) .what!! no answers, you lot really are the limit, can’t be relied on for the slightest bit of information

Many of the people out here for the AGM are going back to England, myself included. Many others have just arrived,
One such couple have a car they wish to sell, if you are interested email me and I will give you their phone no. (It’s roundabout 200 Euros)
The winter darts have started up again so blow the cobwebs off them thar arrows and get chucking…..(at the board—not me)

Last Saturday was the Octoberfest 2009 at the Asturias Restaurant
Quite a few Misolites attended and a good time was held by all. As it was eat and drink as much as you like, you can imagine there was no stopping the intrepid Misolites….to the front of the queue and beyond.
A certain Misolites who should have known better was in full dancing mood….I warned her, I said “you will pay for this tomorrow,” “ stop being a spoilsport,” she said--------Well, once again (big cheer) I was right. Aches and pains all over….I didn’t even say “told you so”. I learnt that if you mix baileys with Malibu and pineapple it curdles, it still tasted ok, but the texture wasn’t all it could have been. (Looked a bit yucky too)
We left there and made our way to Shady’s –they had Woody there doing his stuff and doing it very well.

I have received an email asking if anyone is driving over to Spain from the Kent area and would be willing to transport a bed and mattress. If anyone is, and would like more information please email me.

There has been more stuff put on the official Mi-Sol Blog concerning the counting of the voting slips at the AGM…I know I could go on saying “Ah yes, but…..” to the many different points, but is it worth it??
It all seems very petty to me and do I really want to be bothered?? I didn’t come out to Spain to fight with anyone or to fight against anyone. I have done my best to help out when asked, and if they don’t want my help then so be it..just leaves me with more free time.

The next open forum will be on Tuesday 13th October to be held in the Bar.

I shall be back at Mi-Sol on the 1st November, if I get any juicy scandal between then and now I will upload it, if not will write again in November.

PS… the mosquitoes have turned out with a vengeance today.
So, keep the peskie things away from you
Happy spraying
pat
