2008-12-23-Run up to Christmas

Hope you are all enjoying the run up to Christmas, I am, as I haven’t anything to do…yaaaahooo.

We still don’t know exactly what we are doing on Christmas Day as a lot depends of Christmas Eve…of course I hear you say…all them thar drunks in the bar, will they be in the land of the living on Christmas Day? The thing is for all us OAP’s out here in Spain, as we don’t have the patter of little feet first thing in the morning, we are inclined to go a bit gaga on the night before Christmas, so as I said before a lot depends on how we get up in the morning.

There have been several break-in’s reported, one of them occured at our ex president's house whereby they (the robbers) stole all their clothes and everything from the kitchen. We really need to concentrate on a solution to security; if anyone has a suggestion (practical of course) we would love to hear it.
Reinstating the gates is not an option at the moment because of the legal situation.

A certain member (high up) was seem wandering in a semi-drunken weave around the bottom end of Mi-Sol Park. When asked what’s to do? The reply was “but, I’ve only had one glass of wine”..yeah, yeah, we have all heard it before, how big was the glass? “I can’t remember”…says it all really. What are the rest of us to do?......I heard that mutter of “Join In”….naughty.

The committee member who has been aggravating me on facebook, physically accosted me in Mercadona. Just because I told her “no hiding place would be safe” she took the initiative and found me first, scared me half to death. I need to get my own back…suggestions please.

My grateful thanks to all the members of Mi-Sol Park who are going around reading the meters at the moment, I know the rest of you will do your part by paying your bills promptly and on time..yeah right!!! Only joking before some of you get your knickers in a twist.

Very little to write about at the moment, everyone is keeping a low profile in case I write about them on this blog. There is one person up to mischief, but I am not allowed to write about him/her on penalty of death. I can only say he/she was on the market last Friday buying certain items that I know for a fact he/she should NOT have a use for. Watch this space, will write more when I have sussed it out.

I would like to thank the person who tied up the Bougainville on the side garden near to fence. That has saved me a job today. I want to try and tidy up the side running down the park.

Well, Christmas eve tomorrow, so I am going to post this now, sorry I can’t think of anything of interest to let you know about. Everything is quiet at the moment.
