2008-06-24-Bring + Buy Sale No.2

Hi Misolites 2008-06-24

Another sunny day in Paradise (well Mi-Sol Park anyway!!) We have sun, dust and mosquitoes--but, are we bovvered? Does this face look bovvered? are we heck as like, slap on the sun block, buy another dozen dust masks from the Todo shop and stink of mozzie repellant. What could be better? who was it who kept complaining about the rain and taxes in England? Send them to me I will soon show them what real suffering is.

My friend and I held our second Bring and Buy Sale on my terrace today, several misolites turned up and the beer and jokes flowed freely, there were not as many people as last time, but we still had a great time. A Misolite living at bottom of the site, and another living on the side both donated goods, which was wonderful. Ray has donated the coats left by Jackie, they should be ok for the winter sales-(which is what Jackie would have wanted). The repartee was thick and fast and tongues became looser with the beer, it's a pity we don't have it on video camera, it would make a fabulous sketch. Here is an example (the only one I can really remember) of this:- The dog next door came with his owner, and after he and the dog had left we noticed a little puddle on the floor. “Who did that?” I cried. “It wasn’t me,” a misolite said “I have my incontinence pants on”. We were very lucky that there weren’t more puddles after that statement. Ben came to visit, although he only drank water and didn't really contribute to the conversation. Haven't counted the money as yet, but will do that tomorrow and let you all know. Still have loads of books if anyone needs any. I shall put everything away now until October and then start doing the boot sales at Marina Bar once a month. I just hope the booze doesn't go off!!!

I am going out with several friends tomorrow on a "Ladies Night" It doesn't say what sort of ladies they are so I am sure it will all come as a big surprise to me.
The reason I am telling you this, is I may be slightly (only slightly you understand) incapacitated for a couple of days, and ergo No Blog.

Make sure you take you plenty of water with your "pills"
