Sorry Misolites,
Here is a bit of late news that I had forgotten to put on the web.
The adopted Misolites who were staying near the bottom of the site had a visit by three men of Eastern European appearance. They said (in broken English) that they wanted to buy the house, and could they look around it. My friends being (not of the usual Essex variety) canny, said no way Jose, phone the number and get someone down here to assist you. Later when we were driving off site, she recognized one of the men, standing outside Clara’s place. Unfortunately, these men may be telling the truth, but in the present climate of mistrust they are all going to be tarred with the same brush. I have also seen the Spanish owner of the plot with yellow gates, talking to the men in a friendly way, so he is obviously not bothered about the stuff they are collecting outside his property. (Scrap Metal etc)
Another piece of late news is that my husband has painted a large part of the bottom wall, he has secured the hole in the fence on a temporary basis. (This still needs work doing by Mi-Sol Park when it has the funds.) He has bought and had tipped 6 tons of sand to try and make the road down at the bottom more secure. Obviously he had done all this work because he wants it to look the best it can, ready for selling the caravan on Plot 621. Which does not distract from the fact that he has paid for and done all the work himself with no cost whatsever to Mi-Sol Park.
Here is a picture of the Plot ---which looks 100% better than it did before.
The usual crowd went to Lynne’s Fun Quiz on the Terrace at 7.00 pm. We saw Bob walking by with a couple of Misolites who have newly arrived. They didn’t come in to the Quiz.
The Misolite with her family out from Blackpool then arrived and disrupted the proceedings. A brilliant time was had by all and we are all grateful to old Ironsides or she who will walk with a limp (to give her, her full title.) Many thanks to Lynn and Annie for a brilliant quiz.
