2011-12-20-Sonia Evans

2011-12-20

Hi Misolites,

It is with great sorrow I have to inform the community that Mrs. Sonia Evans passed away yesterday in Torrevieja.  She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.   I am sure the community joins with me in sending our sincere condolences and much love to Tony at this sad time.

At the same time Mr. Evans has been targeted by some lowlife, sad, apology of a human being.  An anonymous letter (scanned and published below) was left in the office.   As the coward who wrote the letter, didn’t sign it, it really wouldn’t normally be worth giving it house room, but as the letter contains lie after lie, I think that the community is entitled to know what sort of a lowlife lives amongst us.  Maybe I am wrong and it really is an undercover Tax Inspector....you think not...Yes, you are probably right...even Tax inspectors sign their names to letters, or as in this case illiterate handwritten notes.

Again, I wouldn’t normally give it a second thought, but as some people can be upset by the moronic actions of these cowardly people..I have decided to let the community know that I also received an anonymous letter.

This devious, nasty person put on their camouflage gear (Black cloak, mask and hat) and dodging and ducking so that no-one would see them, made their way to the local Correos!!  What a lot of effort to send ME a few lines of rubbish that don’t even make any sense.   What the intention of the slimeball was, I have no idea.  Anyone able to enlighten me, please send me an email.

Anyhoooo, bored with it all now, so see below.......Do YOU know who’s handwriting this is????

Enveope to Mr. EvAns....EvEns????
Cutting included with the note left for Mr. Evans.

2011-12-02-Sad News of JJ

HI Misolites,

It is with a very sad heart that I have to tell you that a member of the community has passed away.

Because of Data Protection etc etc... I cannot name names, suffice to say he was very well liked and lived at the bottom end of the park with his lovely wife.

J & D spent a lot of time on Mi-Sol Park, but I never heard either of them say a bad word about anyone.

J, will be badly missed by many, especially the dart throwers on a Tuesday night at the bar.

I am sure you will all join me in offering commiserations and condolences to D.  love from Mi-Sol Park xxxxxxx

2011-10-21 - Information

Hi Misolites,

I have taken off my office hat and the opinions below are entirely my own (for what they are worth)
It is now nearly a month since the new committee have been voted in.  Thanks to the over the top childish behaviour of our ex-treasurer, nothing is as easy as it should have been.

We have people coming to the office asking why Mi-Sol does not have a gardener, we try to explain that there isn’t enough money in the bank (8000.00E approx 21/10/11) to pay a gardener.  The next question is obvious, where has the money gone, and we have to answer, that until we get the invoices for 2011 (missing at the moment) and the database up to date, we don’t know.

The new database bought apparently at a cost of 500 Euros is a open source database available free on the internet.  Therefore we can only assume that the 500 Euros was paid to someone to set the database up.....What was wrong with the one we already had??

The other obvious place money has been spent is on lamp posts installed up through the middle of the Park.  I say UP, as there aren’t any at the bottom end of the park or over on the far side next to La Florida .  Why do owners who only frequent the park on a very ad hoc basis need 24/7 night lights (14 at my last count) outside their property?   With the cost of Electricity going up again in January, I would have thought it was irresponsible to use our community fees to top up the Electricity paid by owners to Iberdrola.  Our last bill was 13,000.00+ Euros.

The pool is leaking like a sieve, we have been told by a community owner that it is losing approximately
9 cubic metres a day, I don’t really know how much that is, but it sounds a lot.  The consensus seems to be that the pipes are the main suspect.  There are tiles coming up from the bottom of the pool which will need to be sorted out.    Ahhh well, as they say onward and upward.

The tenants of you know who, are quite decent people, but their culture is not our culture.  The vice president has been to see them and with the help of an interpreter managed to get the bulk of the rubbish around the side of 620 cleared up.  There still seems to be a problem with vans and cars’ coming on site at all different hours, but again until there is some money in the pot, what can be done?

There was a court case at the beginning of the month....L*** took Mi-Sol Park to court for negligence due to the fact that he fell?? off the ladder while painting the transformer tower.  The outcome was Mi-Sol Park lost the case and he was awarded 5500 Euros.....money we can ill afford to pay.  I wonder if the previous administration had taken out Insurance for just this sort of eventuality.  We can only hope.

With the help of two community members I have been accessing the database to get everything ready for 2012.  With the help of the ex-treasurer (who has ignored all phone calls, emails etc) this would have been a painless task.

As an aside, would the moron who has mistaken the area behind our wall as a doggie poo dumping ground, please be advised that all doggie doo’s should be disposed of in an adult way............

If only life were that simple........Live life and enjoy........adios for now.......

2011--09-25-The AGM is over!!!

Hi Misolites,

The A.G.M called yesterday is over and done with.  Pepe was elected as President, I was elected as a committee member, and because of data protection laws I can only tell you that several members were elected as committee members and one member was elected as Treasurer.  The A.G.M minutes will be taken to the office tomorrow and hopefully they then can be published.

On another note there has been some upsetting news on the park. Two members of the community have passed away within a few days of each other.  Our thoughts and condolences go out to their partners who have been left behind.

There has been talk of a Karate School being set up at the bottom of the park.  (WTF!! too much spare time??)  an ambulance had to be called to deal with a member of the community and a broken arm.  Are the two things connected?  Who knows...... (the person singing....the kneebones connected to the shinbone etc.  go to the back of the class) .

I wish I had more to tell you, but the park is very quiet at the moment....and yes, that is a good thing.

Our new president (male) has at least 6 women behind him hahahahah  xoxoxoxoxox
Do you think he will be able to cope?
Madre Mía

p.s.  Please enter the following competition.

"Who was the first person on the park to make a complaint to a newly elected committee member?"
was it...
a......mitsy....a little dog living at the top of the site      or
b......Pat after forgetting she had been elected to the committee   or
c...that tall strip of nothing living across from a committee member?????
There isn't any prize......just self satisfaction.......xoxox see you soon Peeps
